How it works
Every entry you record goes to your device immediately. Not to a server. Not to the cloud first. To your phone. The entry is saved and counted before the app even tries to sync. If you have no internet, you still have your record.
The moment your connection returns, Berlvis Books quietly sends your queued entries to the cloud. You do not need to press a button. You do not need to reopen the app. It happens in the background while you keep working.
If you close the app, lose power, or switch networks, your unsynced entries stay on the device. The app keeps retrying until every entry is confirmed in the cloud. No entry is ever lost waiting for a signal.
The top bar shows your sync state at all times. Synced means everything is on the server. Pending N means N writes are queued. Offline means no internet but you can still record and view.
Why it matters
Nigeria's internet infrastructure is improving but not perfect. Networks drop. Data expires. Power cuts take the router offline. A bookkeeping app that requires a live connection is a liability.
