Why Berlvis Books

Bookkeeping that respects how you actually trade.

Always on

Works offline so records always update

Save sales the moment they happen, with or without internet. The app stores everything on your device first and quietly sends it to the cloud once you are back online. Nothing ever gets lost waiting for a signal.

Real sales

Multi item entries that match real transactions

One sale, one record, even when it includes seven services, a discount, and a split between cash and transfer. Berlvis Books captures the full picture in a single, clean entry.

Always balanced

Cash and transfer reconciled at the source

The Save button stays disabled until Cash plus Transfer equals Net Total. Your day end always balances, with no late night scrambling to find missing kobo.

Reports

Daily and range reports your accountant will love

Per service breakdowns, monthly cumulative net, and one tap PDF or Excel exports. Every file carries your business name, the date range, and a generated at timestamp.

Mobile first

Designed for the counter, not the desk

Big tap targets, fast forms, and a layout sized for phones. Built for shop owners who run the business with one hand on the till.

Auto sync

Switch devices without losing a single sale

Sign in on a new phone and your records appear automatically. Your books live with you, not on one device.

In the field

Built where commerce actually happens.

From printing shops in Owerri to NIN agents in Aba, Berlvis Books is calibrated for businesses that sell many small items, accept split payments, and cannot afford ambiguity at the close of day.

  • Per service breakdowns at a glance
  • One tap PDF and Excel exports
  • Net cash and transfer always tied out

User Guide

How to run your books, end to end.

Everything you need to get started. This guide updates automatically as the app evolves.

01Step

Create your account

  1. Open the app and tap Create one on the sign in screen.
  2. Enter your full name, business name, email, and password.
  3. Wait briefly for your account to be approved.
  4. Once approved, sign in and start recording.
02Step

Record an entry

  1. Tap New Entry.
  2. Pick the date, choose Income or Expense, and add an optional remark.
  3. For each line item, pick a service so the rate auto fills, then enter the quantity and adjust the rate if needed.
  4. Tap Add another item to keep adding services to the same transaction.
  5. Enter any discount. The net total updates automatically.
  6. Split the payment between Cash and Transfer. Save unlocks once the totals match.
  7. Tap Save Entry.
03Step

View and manage entries

The Entries page lets you filter by date range, type, or search. Multi item entries are grouped together with a totals row. Use the trash icon to remove an entry you own.

04Step

Reports and exports

Pick Daily Summary for one day with a per service breakdown, or Range Summary for one row per day with grand totals. Toggle Monthly cumulative net income and Transaction detail breakdown when you need them. PDF and Excel exports include your business name, the date range, and a generated at timestamp.

05Step

Price list

Your price list is seeded on first sign in with common Nigerian services such as NIN, Printing Color, Printing Black, Photocopy Black, WAEC Result Checking, JAMB Reprint Black, and Envelope. Add new services, edit them inline, or remove them at any time from the Price List page.

06Step

Working offline

The top bar shows your sync state at a glance:

  • Synced means everything is on the server.
  • Pending N means N writes are queued and will go out when you are back online.
  • Offline means no internet, but you can still record and view.

Saved entries always go to your device first. The app keeps retrying in the background and goes through immediately when the internet returns.

07Step

Switching devices

Sign in on the new device and your records will appear automatically.
