By accessing or using the Berlvis Books platform (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Berlvis Books is a digital bookkeeping platform that allows small business owners to record sales, expenses, cash and transfer transactions, customer balances, discounts, and generate simple reports and receipts. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful business records.
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain the accuracy of your account information.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Engage in illegal,3, fraudulent, or unauthorised activities.
• Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials on the Service are the property of Berlvis Spaces LTD or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the business data you enter.

7. Payment and Billing

Berlvis Books offers a free plan. If we introduce paid plans or features, fees will be disclosed at the time of purchase. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Berlvis Spaces LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos, Nigeria.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
